Eligibility
Age (as on 1 July 2026)
- Minimum: 15 years
- Maximum: 24 years
- Relaxation: SC/ST (5 yrs) | OBC (3 yrs) | PwD (10 yrs) | Ex-servicemen (as per rules)
Education & Trade Qualification
- 10th Pass (SSC) from a recognized board, AND
- ITI Pass in the relevant trade from a Government-recognized Industrial Training Institute
- National Trade Certificate (NTC) holders preferred
Medical Standards
- Must be physically fit as per apprenticeship standards
- Candidates working around docks and ships must meet specific eyesight and physical fitness norms
