The State Bank of India (SBI) released the SBI PO Recruitment 2026 official notification on 18 June 2026 under Advertisement No. CRPD/PO/2026-27/09. This is one of the most prestigious and sought-after banking recruitment drives in India.

Phase 1 — Preliminary Exam (Online, Objective)

Salary & Perks

• Basic Pay: ₹48,480/month (JMGS-I scale on joining)
• CTC: Approximately ₹21.97 LPA at Mumbai centre (including DA, HRA, medical, etc.)
• Scale: ₹48,480 - ₹85,920 over tenure with increments

Career Progression at SBI

Probationary Officer → Assistant Manager → Deputy Manager → Manager → Senior Manager → Chief Manager → Deputy General Manager

Promotion criteria: Annual performance reviews + promotional exams after mandatory service periods. Transfers are all-India and candidates must be flexible.
