About Pragati Scholarship

The AICTE Pragati Scholarship is designed to empower girl students pursuing technical education in India. It provides financial support to ensure economic constraints don’t limit educational aspirations.

Scholarship Amount

  • ₹30,000 for tuition fee reimbursement
  • ₹20,000 as incidental charges
  • Total: ₹50,000 per annum

Eligibility

  • Female students admitted to 1st year or 2nd year (Lateral Entry) of AICTE-approved degree/diploma programs
  • Family income not exceeding ₹8 lakh per annum
  • Only one girl per family per year
  • Aadhaar-linked bank account mandatory

  • Caste certificate if applicable
  • Bank passbook copy

Application Window

Applications open in July-August each year. Apply through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).
